Singapore market

Singapore market: Asian markets may take cue from the positive US market close on Friday to open higher today.
This morning, the KOSPI and Nikkei are +0.3% and 0.9% rptvly at 8.18am.
Spore may perform likewise.

Technically, the STI looks to be directionless in the near term, with the key indicators drifting (near neutral levels) over the past few sessions. Longer term outlook appears positive with the STI trading above the key moving averages, yet a mild pullback toward the 50day MA may be welcome, as that could motivate a next wave of buying to take prices higher.
