SGX Delay Opening Hour

Securities market will begin trading at 12.30 pm today, with the pre-open routine at 12.00 pm. The market will remain open till 5.00 pm and close as per normal. The delayed opening is to enable member firms to complete client position reconciliations, and rectify any errors in the end-of-day processing for 1st Dec ‘14 on the securities client-accounting system hosted by SGX on behalf of member firms. The problem was caused by a software defect within SGX's systems which has since been rectified.
