Neratel

Neratel: Groups partners with Juniper Networks to deliver software defined networks (SDN) in Southeast Asia. With the partnership, Juniper could tap on Neratel's customers' network infrastructure to provide the SDN technology to the customers. Neratel could deliver the benefits of Juniper's JunosV Contrail family of network products. SDN promises a way for the networking industry to deliver an unparalleled ability to adapt to changing business needs. Juniper Networks is one of the leading networking providers that pioneered the first step in the separation of control and forwarding functions in networking equipment in SDN. According to the tech industry, SDN is a new technology that is still in its infancy stages, and benefits vary from vendors. Common benefits of SDN include network deployment agility and network abstraction, which could present opportunities to design resilient network infrastructures that can be ready for failure and re-balancing. SDN, if taken up by the industry, could potentially be a gateway to new opportunities in data center technologies.
