mDR

mDR: its JV partner Golden Myanmar Sea has been appointed by Nokia as a distributor of Nokia’s products in Myanmar. mDR Myanmar will be providing consultancy and retail franchisee procurement services to GMS. This will allow mDR and GMS to make inroads into the emerging telco business in Myanmar. With the award of the two Myanmar telco licenses to be announced 27 Jun, counters with telco distribution / infrastructure exposure, such as mDR, Ntegrator and NeraTel may come into focus on sentiment spillover. Separately, with regard to the previous announced acquisition of Pixio in Msia, mDR has extended the cut-off date to 8 Jul from 4 Jun.
