JB Foods: SCB has unrated report on counter. Note that JB Foods is one of Malaysia’s leading producers of cocoa ingredients with a 13.3% share in the country’s cocoa processing revenue in 2010. Management aims to become the fourth-largest cocoa ingredient producer globally, after Barry Callebaut, Cargill and Archer Daniels Midland and believes that Sam Goi’s $21.6m strategic investment will help open more doors in growing the China market. Recent market consolidation offers an opportunity to acquire new customers, as they seek to diversify their supplier base beyond the top three producers.
