Yamada

Yamada: NextInsight has interview with Yamada's management, where investor’s were interested in a potential tie-up with Popiah King, Sam Goi. Recall last week, Sam Goi, who holds ~16.49% of Yamada Shares, had his son, Goi Kok Neng, 36 appointed to the board as a non-executive director. Yamada note that Mr Goi's representatives had visited its factory and met Yamada sales network. Sam Goi is in the chilled food business while Yamada is in thee food processing business and thus envision that Yamada can supply fresh produce such as mushroom and bamboo shoots to Sam Goi as he has a factory in China. Sam Goi has a dumpling product for which Yamada can supply ingredients for its fillings.Yamada gave guidance that the group hope to collaborate with Sam Goi in the future.
