STATS’ next generation embedded Wafer Level Ball Grid Array (eWLB) packaging technology offers increased performance and compact form factor at a competitive cost for the fast growing China smartphone mkt. STATS is +4.5% at $0.46. The counter has been seeing improved price action and volume since mid Sep ’12, likely reflecting mgt’s raised 4Q12 profit outlook. The stock trades at 0.81x P/B.
