Sembcorp Industries

Sembcorp Industries: Announced that it finally gets new Natuna gas supply, in a breakthrough, following a complicated gas swap deal.
Piped gas supplies from Natuna under SCI's new, 2nd Indonesian gas supply agreement (GSA) are now flowing into SG. Commissioning has been completed and gas is flowing according to contractual entitlement.

SCI was scheduled to start receiving an additional 86 mscfd from operator Premier Oil from 1 Oct11 under a second GSA signed in 2008. However, the scheduled Oct deliveries were delayed as Indo gas regulator BPMigas wanted another SG gas importer, Gas Supply, to divert approx 40 mscfd of its current 350 mscfd of gas supplies from Sumatra to Batam to help fuel a new power plant, and get make-up vol from the Natuna gas which Sembgas is bringing in.
