Metax: Annouced that its Indian subsidiary have clinched a contract worth about $6.2m from India-based firm Grasim Industries for the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commission of an effluent treatment plant. The plant will be completed in about 13mths, with a defect liability period of 18mths from the date of commissioning.
Project is expected to 'contribute positively, but not materially', to the EPS and NTA of Metax Engineering for FY12.
