SingTel

SingTel: Announced that it will be building a $400m data centre in Jurong. It will be built and operated as part of SingTel’s Group Enterprise business, designed to meet growing hosting needs of industries such as financial services, government agencies as well as cloud and Internet service providers.

The data centre will be a Tier 3 Plus centre, near the top end of the range with expected availability of 99.98% or no more than 94.6 mins of downtime a year.

While StarHub and M1 are already building their data centres, SingTel is already one of the biggest data centre operators in the region. The latest addition brings the regional portfolio to 14 data centers, with 9 in Singapore.

For now, Maybank-KE has a Buy call on SingTel with TP of $4.50
