STATS ChipPAC: incidentally STATS and Jiangsu Changjiang Electronics (JCE) (600584 CH) are both on trading halt. While STATS has not given clues as to the nature of the halt, JCE says in a statement that it is planning a significant corporate action that may or may not materialise. Currently, STATS and JCE are ranked 4th and 6th largest globally , in terms of semiconductor packaging and assembly services.
