Wee Hur
Wee Hur: Group's Thomson View purchase is highlighted in a fairly negative view on Business Times today. The High Court found that Wee Hur's marketing agent offered $548,000 in "incentive payments" to four owners to get its requisite 80% acceptance.
The court has dismissed the order of sale application by the consenting sellers of the property; Wee Hur now seeks legal advice before deciding on its next course of action.
Legal representatives of the dissenting group of Thomson View owners are overjoyed by the court's decision. In addition, a number of residents who have previously signed up for the collective sale have now switched sides to not supporting the sale.
