Sound Global

Sound Global: Won the bid for a build-operate-transfer sewage treatment plant in Baoding Electricity Valley, Hebei Province. An investment of RMB70m for phase I of the project will have a sewage treatment capacity of 30,000 cubic metres per day, with a tariff of RMB1.815 per cubic metre and an operating license of 30 years. This project will bring ~RMB19.9m per year in revenue. Baoding Electricity Valley is located in one of the two pilot cities participating in a national low-carbon city program initiated by The World Wide Fund for Nature in China. The construction of the project will play an important role in preserving the water quality, ecological environment and water source of Hebei Province. Sound Global's possible delisting from SGX is still pending financing arrangements and approvals from the board, shareholders and relevant authorities. The minimum exit offer is touted to be at least $0.70 per share.
