Centurion: has emerged as the highest amongst thirteen bids submitted, with a tender price of $80.8m land located at Woodlands Avenue 10, pursuant to an initiation for tender by JTC. The land is for a proposed devt of a workers dormitory with a capacity of 4,100 beds for foreign workers in the marine, process and mnftg industries. It has a lease term of 30 yrs commencing on 22 Nov ’13, and comprises a land area of 9,542 sm. The tender closed 16 Aug, and JTC will take approx 8-10 wks to evaluate the bids and award the tender.
