Europe
Europe: Newswires reported around Spore noon time, that Euro-zone finance ministers failed at an emergency meeting to strike a deal to unblock bailout funds needed to keep Greece from bankruptcy and said they will try again next week.
The euro-zone ministers said in a statement after talks that ended in the early morning that no deal has been reached and they will meet again Monday "for further technical work on some elements of the package."
The STI has flipped into slight negative territory vs a slight gain earlier this morning.
