Comfort Delgro
Comfort Delgro: its 51% owned subsidiary ComfortDelgro Cabcharge (CDC) proposes to acquire Deane’s Bus Lines and Transborder Express for A$53m. Both are part of Deane’s Transit Group (DTG), one of the largest private regional bus companies that has services operating into Canberra. DTG has been operating Govt contract routes, school bus and charter services in New South Wales and Canberra for nearly 25 yrs. It has a fleet of 97 buses and operates out of two depots.
The acquisition of DTG, subject to regulatory approval, will cement CDC’s position as the largest private bus operator in Australia with a total fleet of over 1500 buses.
Comfort is +0.6% at $1.69.
