SIA: will start its new long haul budget carrier unit in Apr ’12 with one Boeing 777-200 aircraft and expand to 4 planes in the first 3mths, according to the Straits Times. There are plans to grow the fleet to 14 aircraft by the middle of 2016, with each aircraft to have a capacity of ~400 pax.
