United Engineers: A freehold 79 Anson Rd office building is said to be on the verge of being sold for $400-410m or $2000-2050 psf by German fund mgr SEB and CPF Board.
The building has 289.2k sf gfa and ~200k sf NLA, with 145 carparks.
United Engineers is tipped as the possible buyer.
Other counters with property exposure in the vicinity that could see spillover interest include,
MCT, which recently purchased the nearby Mapletree Anson for $680m or $2049 psf;
CCT, which acquired next-door Twenty Anson at $2121 psf (w/o yield stabilisation support) earlier this yr;
Amara, which holds the iconic Amara Singapore Hotel.
