Stats Chippac: CIMB notes delisting attempts continue in Singapore. Says Stats Chippac is a stock in the Spore tech space that nearly slips its mind for possible privatization. Notes earlier attempts by major sh/h Temasek (now owns 83.8%) had fallen through. With only one major sh/h Marathon Asset Mgt (4.7% stake) remaining (it recently sold 6.8m sh of the co), the house wonders if the time is right now for another privatization attempt.
