Japan

Japan: a strong earthquake has jolted northeastern Japan and authorities have issued warningn of a possible tsunami. The Japan Meteorological Agency says the earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 7.3 struck in the Pacific OCean off the coast of Miyagi prefecture at 4.18 pm Spore time. The epicentre was 10km beneath the seabed. The warning said the tsunami could be as high as two metres. Although PTWC says no destructive pacific wide tsunami expected. Narita Airport reopens runways for operation after quake, JR Central resumes bullet train operations after quake check. During the previous major Japan earthquake, GLP suffered share price weakness on its exposure to Japan logistics warehouses. The co is preparing for a listing its J-Reit in Tokyo. Parkway Life Reit has about 34% exposure via nursing homes in Japan. MLT has ~20% exposure via logistic warehouses in Japan.
