Rubber

Rubber: Futures declined in Tokyo on speculation that Thailand, the world’s largest supplier of the commodity, may boost output as growers bring more trees to production. Dec-delivery rubber dropped as much as 1.6% to 373 yen/kg. Production in Thailand will be about 3.4m tons this yr vs 3.25m in 2010.
Analysts note that the Jul-Dec spread is quite bearish as it suggests expectations of higher supply. Notable rubber plays in SG include GMG and SRI Trang.
