JES

JES: Following yard expansion, JES now boasts the widest dry dock in the world, with one of the most modern and advanced workshops in China's shipbldg industry. Shipyard now has an annual capacity of >2.0m DWT, while current orderbook stands at 50 vessels worth US$1.2b, underpinnings over the next 2 yrs….

JES is also looking to penetrate the offshore sector as the PRC govt will cont to emphasise development of this sector as China needs energy for its economic growth, and intend to position Co. for these growth opportunities. Highlights its currently engaged in informal discussions with various SG based companies, and are exploring the possibilities of one-off projects or jv to accelerate their growth.
