ST Engineering: Subsidiary ST Electronics was featured in a Channel News Asia article stating that it is among local tech firms that could push Singapore towards being a Smart Nation. ST Electronics has already pushed out two new platforms, such as the Galaxy machine-to-machine communication system and the Intelligent Aggregation Gateway Box, both of which aids in collecting and analysing data.
One of the platforms has been submitted for tender to the Government, and while local firms should have home turf familiarity as an advantage, industry experts remind that competition is stiff.
