TalkMed Group: 2Q14 net profit gained 15% y/y to $9.6m, while revenue increased 10% to $15.8m, buoyed by an increase in patient visits and more patients requiring intensity care. Bottom line benefitted from the operating leverage, despite an increase in staff costs (+28%) from the expansion of business and new operating leases (+156%). NAV/share surged 189% to 6.71¢ mainly from IPO cash proceeds. Group declared interim DPS of 2.13¢ (2Q13: nil).
