Cardiff City (potential IPO): Msian billionaire Vincent Tan hired CIMB to explore listing Cardiff City Football Club in Spore. The Welsh soccer team, playing in England’s top league for the first season since 1962, may list on Singapore’s Catalist market for smaller companies. Tan, who first acquired a stake in the club in 2010, has yet to work out details of a listing as plans are still at an early stage. He currently owns 51% of Cardiff City, according to the club’s website.
