Sino Grandness: Expect to see positive interests, after the group announced that its in-house beverage brand (Garden Fresh) has been valued at RMB3.5b (~$714m) according to a (Brand Value Data Certificate) issued by Asia Brand Association Experts Committee and Asia Brand Research Centre based on the analysis of 4 indicators and targets namely, brand performance in the market, growth potential in brand value, quality control and level of efficiency (Brand Valuation Exercise).
Maybank-KE had previously estimated using a conservative listing P/E of 15x, Sino Grandness stake in Garden Fresh to be worth as much as $426m, or almost equivalent to the group’s current market capitalization of $446m.
