Keppel Corp: Mr Nelson Yeo, Managing Director of Keppel Shipyard has passed away while on a business trip. He had 30 years of service with the Group, and was instrumental in the running of one of Keppel Corp’s most profitable/ high margin units. Mr Chor How Jat, Executive Director of Keppel Shipyard has assumed the position of Acting MD, and will take over mgt of the unit’s businesses and operations. Nevertheless, overall impact on KEP will likely be minimal given the succession planning in place. Investors will continue to focus on offshore order news flow, which has been the key driver of KEP share price in recent times.
