Radiance
Radiance: (The Edge) Gets new lease of life as RTO wins shareholders approval. Under the RTO deal, GIHL will be injected into Radiance in exchange for US$49m worth of cash and Radiance shares.
GIHL key customers include US Satellite broadcasters DirecTV Group and DISH, as well as British Sky Broadcasting Corp. Radiance first step is to bring Radiance’s manufacturing capabilities up to speed, and has spent US$1m to upgrade its factories in Shenzhen and Shanghai.
Also aims to strengthen relationship with customers and grow its customer base to include other high tech satellite equipment makers. With the combination of GIHL and Radiance, aims to improve supply chain coordination, cost-sharing and target bigger opportunities in the market place.
