Baker Tech: to lift halt at 8.30am this morning. Not withstanding the SMM has filed an appeal against the High Court decision for its claims in the suit btwn PPL Holdings and Baker Tech, the latter says it has fulfilled its obligations to QD Asia (the buyer of PPL Holdings) and the disposal of PPLH to QD is considered as completed. Accordingly, Baker Tech will retain the US$116.25m and will now proceed to recognize the gain on disposal of $58.2m. Based on FY11 figures, NTA/sh will rise from 23.5cts to 31.8cts.
