Myanmar

Myanmar: US oil majors are seeking deals in Myanmar as Washington slowly removes investment restrictions, playing catch-up to global rivals who have already rushed in to take advantage of the country's mostly untapped oil and gas wealth. Much of Myanmar has been very lightly explored, or not explored at all. We note that this could spur more demand for rigs - KEP, SMM, COS etc; offshore services providers eg EZI, EZRA, SWIB etc; and smaller O&G players like Interra on M&As.
