High Dividend yield stocks
High Dividend yield stocks: Below are some e.g of high div yield stocks in electronics manufacturing, offshore oil & gas, construction, and teleco, with regular payouts the last 3 yrs. Any fall in stock price can only increase the div yield to even more yummy levels.
1) Valuetronics – 11% dividend yield. An integrated electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, offering a competitive and broad combination of design, engineering, and manufacturing services, particularly for white goods.
For its FY12 results, grp reported a 36.8% yoy jump in 4Q12 net profit to HK$38.4m on the back of a 14.2% increase in revto HK$607.2m. OCBC has a ‘Buy’ call on Valuetronics with fair value pegged at 31.5c.
2) Technics Oil & Gas – 9% dividend yield. O&G industry has a positive outlook as elevated oil prices encourage capital expenditure in the sector. Co. has a strong earnings record: 5-yr rev CAGR is 20%. 1H12 net earnings grew 19% yoy to $10.3m and net profit margins have remained above 10% in the past 3 years. Grp also has a consistent div track record, having paid 10.5c for FY10 and 12c for FY11.
Grp has guided for an 8c div for its 3Q12 results which will be announced in Jul. AmFraser has a ‘Buy’ recommendation grp with $1.22 TP.
3) KSH – 6.5% dividend yield. Stock price dipped in Feb after it reported a sharp drop in 3Q12 construction rev. FY12 rev was down 35% at $170.6m due lower contributions from construction projects.
However, construction accounted for 85.2% of group revenue in FY12. Rev from Property Development and Management accounted for 14.8%, significantly larger than the 2.1% in FY11. Co. has order books of about $467m to be delivered through 2014. It also recently announced a one-for-10 bonus issue. OCBC has Hold Call 25c TP.
4) Starhub – 6.25 dividend yield. Starhub has guided that it will pay total div of 20c per share for FY12, in line with what it paid in the past two yrs. This translates into a div yield of 6.2%, the highest among STI component stocks. Co. expects to maintain revenue growth in the low single-digit range. Consensus fair value for the stock is $3.02.

I would like to say that when you invest in a company, you're entitled to earn dividends on that company's profits. Dividends are awarded to investors according to the shares they own in a company.
