Dairy Farm: has teamed up with parent, Jardine Matheson Hldgs, to submit a first-round bid for Carrefour’s assets. Carrefour is auctioning its assets in Singapore, Thailand and Msia, with total value est at $1bn. Auction seeing keen interest, with global and regional retailers, local retailers and conglomerates among list of bidders. Results expected to be out earliest by year end.
