Golden Agri

Golden Agri: Reuters reported that Indonesia seeks to cut foreign ownership of plantations to 30%, from 95%, would probably reduce planted areas and palm oil output growth in the country. Barclays noted that the Bill probably won’t be passed in current form and may take many years to implement if passed. The house also cited that almost all of Golden Agri’s exposure comes from Indonesian plantations, while Sime Darby has least exposure to Indonesian palm oil plantations in its business.
