Olam - No Co. specific news, although would like to highlight that US Peer Cargill, saw quarterly earnings fell 42% on Tuesday, as a historic US drought pressured its meat processing operations. Cargill, one of America’s largest beef processors, has been warning since last summer that the worst US drought in more than half a century would hurt its meat business by raising costs for grain fed to livestock. Note that Cargill's underperformance could have set the benchmark for other commodities traders for the upcoming results season.
