Genting HK: Most Chinese travel agencies have suspended travel to Philippines after the dispute over Huangyan Island. The dispute over Huangyan Island unfolded after the Philippines recently sent a warship to harass 12 Chinese fishing vessels which sailed into the island's waters supposedly for shelter against bad weather. China's Vice Foreign Minister Fu Ying has said that China is not optimistic on the situation and is prepared to respond if Philippines does anything to escalate the dispute. Co owns 50% of Travellers Grp which runs Resorts World Manila. As of FY2011, co's share of net profit from RWM was estimated to be approx US$56.0m. Co had FY2011 net profit of US$185.4m. There could also be some downside for its cruise operations.
