Airlines: SIA and Qantas will raise fuel surcharges by US$2 -26/ sector, and US$30-45/ sector r’ptively, depending on the distance and cabin class.
Both airlines note that the adjustments will offer partial relief from the higher operating costs arising from increases in jet fuel price.
SIA share price is down 9.4% ytd, vs the 24% rise in jet kerosene prices over the same period.
