Hong Fok

Hong Fok - There is not much info available to give an accurate assessment on the viability of the project, however note that the Proposed Redevelopment, if proceeded with, will entail proposed additions and alterations to the existing International Building involving an extension of a single storey commercial block and redevelopment of the existing car park block to a new 27 storey hotel on Lot 956X at 360 Orchard Road and Lot 1719L at Claymore Hill,. The Proposed Redevelopment will not affect the existing retail and office units at International Building. The proposed GFA of the Proposed Redevelopment is 15,883 sq m and the approved GFA of the existing International Building is 15,267 sqm, giving a total of 31,150 sqm. The proposed hotel will have 576 rooms. Note however that the Proposed Redevelopment may be subject to change, pending further consultation with the relevant authorities and consultants. In the meantime, shareholders of the Coare advised to refrain from taking any action in relation to their shares which may be prejudicial to their interests, and to exercise caution when dealing in their shares in the Co, as discussions are still in the preliminary stages.
