Intraco

Intraco: (The Edge) Mkt appears to be smelling a bidding war between Tat Hong and Oei Hong Leong. Tat Hong (TH Investments) need the approval of Hanwell shareholders to acquire its 28.89% stake in Intraco, however with Intraco’s share price at 59.5c now, near to the 62c its offering, it might not be approved. If TH Investments does decide to up the Ante, or if other interlopers besides Oei emerge, mkts could turn its attention to Hanwell (Previously known as PSC Corp). Hanwell has a mkt cap of $181.7m and stands to gain$18.28m from its stake in Intraco. Coincidentally, Popiah King Sam Goi owns a 12.8% stake in Hanwell. Among Goi’s other holdings are an 8.5% stake in Union Stel, and an 11.5% stake in beverage Co. Super grp.
